Finals
The pronunciation of a Chinese character is a syllable. The following picture shows 7 characters and their corresponding syllables transcribed in Hanyu Pinyin.
In Hanyu Pinyin, an initial (blue color) combines with a final (peach color) to transcribe a syllable in Hanyu. There are 2 types of finals :
1. simple finals (1 page)
2. composite finals (1 page)
